Nomination for Essensium’s customer, RAJA Benelux at the Transport and Logistics Awards 2024

Every year TRANSPORTMEDIA, the leading Belgian media house in transport & logistics organizes the Transport and Logistics awards. This award ceremony is by far, the largest networking event in Belgium for the transport and logistics sector with 1.500 attendees in attendance. The principle behind the awards is very simple: best practices in logistics and transportation are highlighted and submitted to a jury of renowned experts and former winners.
The awards are divided into 8 categories: Transporter of the Year, Truck Fleet-Owner of the Year, Truck Safety Award, Green Truck Award, Digital Truck Award, Transport & Logistics Employer of the Year, Logistics Project of the Year and Logistics Building of the Year.
We are very happy that one of Essensium’s leading customers, RAJA Benelux, is nominated in the Logistics Project of the Year category with the implementation of Essenium’s smart SafeTrack™ solution in their warehouses in Tongeren.
Efficiency in distribution and staff well-being are central to RAJA’s strategy. With the aim of achieving “zero accidents on the workfloor”, RAJA Benelux chose to invest in SafeTrack™, an AI camera solution designed to prevent collisions. This system not only enhances safety by averting accidents between forklifts and pedestrians but also increases efficiency and productivity in their warehouses in Tongeren through its innovative “digital twin” functionality. Essensium’s smart SafeTrack™ solution was installed on both new and existing Toyota Material Handling vehicles at RAJA Benelux.
The other candidates in the Logistics Project of the Year category are Dematra, GoBo, Colruyt Group Smart Innovations, Manuport Logistics and Van Moer Logistics.
