Can you tell us a bit about your responsibilities?

I am part of the project engineering team, where I manage projects for our customers, ensuring everything runs smoothly from start to finish. This involves close collaboration with the entire team, to support the planning, execution, and installation phases of each project. In addition, I work as a secondary engineer alongside the primary engineer, providing technical assistance and helping to solve complex challenges.

My expertise lies in areas such as cameras, computer vision, and object-oriented programming, which allow me to contribute effectively to the technical aspects of each project and ensure high-quality outcomes for our clients.

What’s the best thing about your job?

The best thing about my job is the dynamic aspect – I get to work across different domains at the same time, which keeps things interesting and provides a nice variety. I really enjoy how my role combines project management with technical expertise, giving me the chance to oversee projects while diving deep into the technical challenges. Plus, every customer brings unique problems to solve, which keeps me constantly learning and adapting. It’s exciting to see how each project is different and requires a tailored solution.

What are the biggest challenges in your work?

The biggest challenges in my work involve constantly improving our systems to make them more scalable and efficient. There’s always the need to standardize and unify processes to ensure consistency across projects, while also keeping everything up-to-date with the latest advancements. It’s a continuous journey of refining and optimizing, which is both challenging and rewarding. I enjoy this process because it pushes me to always strive for improvement and find new ways to enhance our systems. It’s a great challenge to be a part of!

Which things are on your bucket list – what do you absolutely want to have done?

On my personal bucket list, I’ve already had the chance to explore Spain, Portugal, the Netherlands, Germany, and Belgium, which was amazing. However, I’m still eager to visit the eastern part of Europe and Japan—those are high on my list for future travels!

Professionally, my goal is to keep improving and never stop learning. I’m currently focused on mastering Dutch (already have a B1 level), French (already have a A1 level), and taking courses to further develop my language skills. I’m also working on enhancing my IT expertise, especially in computer science and AI. In my free time, I enjoy reading books to keep expanding my knowledge. Always striving to improve and grow!

What do you do in your free time?

In my free time, I like to stay active by swimming regularly and going to the gym. It helps me maintain a healthy balance. I also enjoy reading books, especially ones that expand my knowledge and help me keep learning new things. It’s a great way to unwind and stay inspired.
