EPS Technical Support Engineer

We are looking for an RTLS (Real Time Location System) / EPS (Essensium Positioning System) Technical Support Engineer.

This role has a dual focus:

      • Internally: involved in the development and improvement of our existing &  new EPS products
      • Externally: involved in the deployment of these RTLS solutions at a wide range of pan-European customers.

This function offers a unique opportunity to help develop and implement our state-of-the-art products, allowing you to personally grow and expand your knowledge over the coming years.

Skills

      • Work systematically and accurately (‘eye for detail’ is your key strength)
      • Excellent communication skills (written & oral to ensure customer-centric communication initiatives)
      • Excellent problem-solving skills
      • Flexible and hands-on
      • A degree in electronics.
      • Interested in electronics, RF technology, computer vision, real-time positioning systems, safety application
      • Experience with Linux and Python is a plus

Key responsibilities

  • As EPS product engineer you will:
    • Contribute to our next generation RTLS products in terms of
      • Product Design
      • Verification
    • Work in close collaboration with the R&D team (including product fixes and enhancements).
    • Work with the production team to ensure consistent product reliability and excellence in manufacturing.
    • This role is based at our offices in Leuven (with  field testing/visits when appropriate)
  • As EPS project engineer you will
    • Contribute to our EPS projects in terms of
      • Installation
      • Roll out and deployment
      • Support our key enterprise customers and support the maintenance of our products.
      • Both for existing and future products.
    • In close collaboration with our Sales and Marketing team.
    • While most configuration and monitoring can happen via a remote link, this role does require occasional travel to the European customer sites.
    • Prioritize and manage several open issues at one time
    • Document relevant technical knowledge

Language / Location

  • Fluency in English, knowledge of Dutch is a plus (to support Belgian customers)
  • Hybrid, minimum 2 days a week in the office
