EPS Technical Support Engineer
We are looking for an RTLS (Real Time Location System) / EPS (Essensium Positioning System) Technical Support Engineer.
This role has a dual focus:

- Internally: involved in the development and improvement of our existing & new EPS products
- Externally: involved in the deployment of these RTLS solutions at a wide range of pan-European customers.
This function offers a unique opportunity to help develop and implement our state-of-the-art products, allowing you to personally grow and expand your knowledge over the coming years.
Skills
- Work systematically and accurately (‘eye for detail’ is your key strength)
- Excellent communication skills (written & oral to ensure customer-centric communication initiatives)
- Fluency in English.
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Flexible and hands-on
- A degree in electronics.
- Interested in electronics, RF technology, computer vision, real-time positioning systems, safety application
- Experience with Linux and Python is a plus
Key responsibilities
- As EPS product engineer you will:
- Contribute to our next generation RTLS products in terms of
- Product Design
- Verification
- Work in close collaboration with the R&D team (including product fixes and enhancements).
- Work with the production team to ensure consistent product reliability and excellence in manufacturing.
- This role is based at our offices in Leuven (with field testing/visits when appropriate)

- Contribute to our EPS projects in terms of
- Installation
- Roll out and deployment
- Support our key enterprise customers and support the maintenance of our products.
- Both for existing and future products.
- In close collaboration with our Sales and Marketing team.
- While most configuration and monitoring can happen via a remote link, this role does require occasional travel to the European customer sites.
- Prioritize and manage several open issues at one time
